Meet the Team

  • Olivia Musa

    FOUNDER

Olivia founded The Male Fertility Clinic in 2021 after witnessing the lack of dedicated services for male fertility across London.

As a member of the Health Care Professions Council, Olivia spent the early years of her career working in private and NHS fertility laboratories. It was this experience which gave Olivia an insight into the male perspective; sadly, often overlooked with a lack of support.

“The vision was to create a private, comfortable space where men could feel heard and understood. Difficulties conceiving, pregnancy loss and family planning, for example, are not discussions which should be reserved for women only. I am really proud of the space we have created; not only this but we are on a mission to spread awareness, break down taboos and help men to feel informed no matter where they are on their individual journey.”

  • Abz Musa

    CO-FOUNDER / MANAGING DIRECTOR

Abz co-founded the clinic with his wife, Olivia. His background in events and previously running his own small business has helped him to gain experience in what is required in the day-to-day running of the clinic.

Abz is dedicated to ensuring that a high quality service for each and every visitor is maintained at all times. His involvement in the service can be seen from the design of the clinic, to staff management, to creative social media posts; Abz really cares about every aspect which helps the service to run smoothly.

“As a guy in 2023, I feel we have been left behind on important conversations and knowledge about fertility. We didn’t have any education on the topic growing up, and it’s only now that society is becoming more and more aware of the factors affecting sperm counts and reproduction rates. Things are changing and our ultimate goal is to make male fertility testing normal and accessible.”

  • Stavri Theologou

    ANDROLOGIST

Stavri studied Biological Sciences at the University of Cyprus and then continued her education at the University of Oxford where she graduated with an MSc in Clinical Embryology. She has a keen interest in illuminating issues regarding male reproductive health, especially after conducting research on male infertility and PLCζ; a protein found on sperm cells that is vital during the initial stages of fertilization.

She joined the Male Fertility Clinic team soon after completing her studies and is now working as an Andrologist for the London Victoria branch. Her main role is split between analysing semen samples, briefing patients on sampling procedures, keeping track of inventory and overall ensuring the smooth running of the laboratory.

“I want my work to provide men an opportunity to investigate and understand their own fertility. I really believe in the mission of providing personalised patient care and clinical service.”

  • Rose Tomlinson

    MEDICAL SECRETARY

As the newest member here at The Male Fertility Clinic, Rose is here to help with everything behind the scenes; setting up appointments, writing marketing materials and anything the clinic needs to make sure everything runs smoothly. You will more than likely be speaking to her as your first point of contact!

Coming from a background in Psychology followed by her career in PR and also most recently working in early years education, Rose has a great understanding of what it takes to make sure every customer feels that their experience runs seamlessly. She also is a mother of three so is used to getting things organised!

“Working within the male fertility sector is so interesting and I am looking forward to helping as many men as I can, who would like to understand their own fertility.”
